Business Licenses: are available FREE from the Village office.  The license is recognized in Raymond, Magrath, Coaldale, Barons, Picture Butte, Coalhurst and Nobleford.  You can also have your business listed on this website and in the

"Welcome to Stirling" package available from the village office.

Free Video Conference Business Training Seminars - Fall 2008

Development Permits

1.  Any development requires a Development Permit from the Village.

2.  Following the acquisition of a Development Permit a Building Permit

     needs to be purchased.

         - Two sets of architectural designs, structural designs, mechanical

           designs and electrical drawings

         - Permit filled out and fee paid

         - Village will courier the permit to Alberta Permit Pro for the final

            approval with a turn around time of approximately one week.

3.  Following approval from Alberta Permit Pro a Building Permit is issued.

4.  A Building Permit is required for all construction in excess of $500.

5.  Plumbing and Electric Permits are also acquired from the Village Office.

Subdivisions

All subdivisions are now carried out through the Village Office.  A detailed sketch of

the proposed subdivision area needs to be supplied along with the applicable fee.

Maximum Water Flow - 4.782 cubic meters/day

Maximum Sewer Flow - 120,000 gal/day
